Our Government was founded on 3 principles.

1.   Truths. We hold these truths to be self-evident.

2.   From the consent of the governed.

3.   We are endowed by our creator.

Render to Caesar the things that are Caesars, and to God the things that are Gods. Mark 12:17

He changes times and seasons, he deposes kings and raises up others.  He gives wisdom and knowledge to the discerning.  Daniel 2:21

So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.  What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight, what is whispered in your year, proclaim from the roofs. Mathew 10: 26-27

When we are ANGRY or in “Chaos”… how SHOULD we respond ?

Anger that manifests in a “sinful” response usually creates more anger and division

·       Selfishness, “My Way or the Highway” Sin that drags us into the darkness.

·       Sin is conceived IN THE MIND… and it rots the Heart!

Jeremiah 17:9   Mark 7:21-23  Galatians 5:19-21  Jude 1:16-19

Ephesians 4:17-32 Paul says … SO I INSIST on this in the Lord! I think he was serious!?

Our Need – Jesus  John 17:21   Ezekiel 11:19

“And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh”

The Solution – To be MORE like Him! To TRANSFORM the way we think!

Ephesians 4:25-32 WE MUST DO THIS….

We have to be a REFLECTION of His Unconditional Love and EMBRACE those who are in darkness and EXPOSE them to His MARVELOUS Light!

Unless the Son sets you FREE...

The Grace of God and the Gift of Jesus is FREE!

John 8:34 – “ Jesus said to them… truly, the one who practices sin is a slave to sin.” What things in your life turn your eyes AWAY from Jesus? Those “things” are sin in the eyes of God. Have they become your Master? WOW! That’s ‘ harsh! But… honestly, have they?!

A lot of times in life… our sin develops subtly. It easily ENTANGLES! HEBREWS 12:1

On this America’s Birthday… we Celebrate a FREE America!

As Christians we Celebrate that we are FREE INDEED!

Is there a “cost” to this freedom in Christ?  YES.   1 Peter 2:16 We must live as SERVANTS to and for Christ Jesus. How do I do that?

1.     Self Sacrifice Galatians 5:13 – Less of me… more about Him and others

2.     Obedience Mark 8:34 Take up your Cross, deny yourself and FOLLOW ME.

3.     Together – When we are ONE IN SPIRIT… One in The Lord… together we others will know that we are Christians by our Love! Psalm 133

4.     With Reckless Abandon! Colossians 3:16 – Let the message of Christ dwell among you RICHLY and with PASSION! – Be a HOLY FOOL for Christ!

On this AMERICA’S BIRTHDAY… lets remember that there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death and that the wages of our sin IS death. But when we allow the Son to set us FREE… we are truly FREE INDEED! Free from the penalty of sin and death!
