The Grace of
God and the Gift of Jesus is FREE!
John 8:34 – “ Jesus said to them… truly, the one who practices sin
is a slave to sin.” What things in your life turn your eyes AWAY from Jesus?
Those “things” are sin in the eyes of God. Have they become your Master? WOW!
That’s ‘ harsh! But… honestly, have they?!
A lot of times
in life… our sin develops subtly. It easily ENTANGLES! HEBREWS
12:1
On this America’s Birthday… we Celebrate a
FREE America!
As Christians we Celebrate that we are FREE
INDEED!
Is there a “cost” to this freedom in
Christ? YES. 1 Peter 2:16 We
must live as SERVANTS to and for Christ Jesus. How do I do that?
1. Self
Sacrifice Galatians 5:13 – Less of me… more about Him and others
2. Obedience
Mark 8:34 Take
up your Cross, deny yourself and FOLLOW ME.
3. Together
– When we are ONE IN SPIRIT… One in The Lord… together we others will know that
we are Christians by our Love! Psalm 133
4. With
Reckless Abandon! Colossians 3:16 – Let the message of Christ dwell among you
RICHLY and with PASSION! – Be a HOLY FOOL for Christ!
On
this AMERICA’S BIRTHDAY… lets remember that there is a way that seems right to
a man, but in the end it leads to death and that the wages of our sin IS death.
But when we allow the Son to set us FREE… we are truly FREE INDEED! Free from
the penalty of sin and death!
