The Breath of God
Text: Ezekiel 37: 1-14
TODAY more than ever before… we MUST realize that
we are in a Battle… and the battle that we are in is NOT against FLESH and
BLOOD…. Even though it FEELS LIKE IT…. It’s a SPIRITUAL BATTLE and it is being
fought in the HEAVENLY PLACES. Its against the rulers and principalities of the
air.
It’s a battle that rages all around us… trying to
ROB, DESTROY and to KILL us in both very obvious ways, but also in very subtle
ways!
What do we do to ready ourselves for this kind of
warfare?
EZEKIEL 37: 1-14 – Notice how the MIRACLE was
happening and was very evident… but it was NOT COMPLETE!
The MIRACLE of LIFE did not happen UNTIL the BREATH
OF GOD entered the LIFELESS bodies and suddenly they were ALIVE!!!!
The Bible says that the Enemy of God is a Liar! He
MASQUERADES as an “angel of light”, but He is as dark as it comes!
What kinds of things does the enemy really cause us
to experience?
· FEAR
· DOUBT
· BROKENNESS
· LACK
OF SELF WORTH
· WOUNDEDNESS
--- Depression, Defeat, Dispair
· HOPELESSNESS
· CAPTIVENESS
But what did GOD PROMISE US?

7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or
fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound
judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a
calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
As we put on the FULL ARMOR of God…
Ephesians 6: 10-18
· BELT of Truth
· BREASTPLATE of Righteousness
· FEET fitted with Readiness that comes from the Gospel of PEACE
· SHIELD of Faith
· HELMET of Salvation
· SWORD of the SPIRIT – this is what God uses to fight on our
behalf…. HIS SPIRIT!
