Be Bold and Be Strong!

Prayer in private results in boldness in public.

What is the relationship between boldness and humility, and how does this boldness differ from pride? Pride is self-confidence; boldness is confidence in Christ. A proud man looks to all that he has done; a bold man openly rejoices in the perfect work of Christ in gaining his righteousness, and the giving of that righteousness to him freely. This boldness is essentially humility.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Tit. 3:5). Boldness in God! The boldness of faith that unites us to Christ and makes us partakers of all His benefits!

Acts 28:1-31 The Apostle Paul has been arrested for his faith in and his spreading of the Gospel of Jesus. His jailers take him to Rome where the Jews there want to hear what he is so passionate about. Paul tells them, but they wrestle with it still. Paul shares the GOOD NEWS with whomever will listen... and he does it with BOLDNESS!  Church... we need to proclaim our Faith with BOLDNESS!
